Support Services Manager

Achmat is responsible for managing all our procurement, travel and IT needs. It is an immense role, but Achmat is passionate about improving systems and processes and is always looking at better, more efficient ways to serve both our staff and the communities where we work.

Achmat worked in the corporate sector for over 18 years where he gained invaluable experience in warehousing, sales, procurement and administrative functions within a business. He moved into the NGO world in June 2015 when he took on the role of Procurement Officer for TB HIV Care. He was responsible for all aspects of buying, distribution, asset management and contract management. Achmat took on the role of Support Services Manager in December 2017.
